Some photos from my first shoot of the season.  Nick Tingren, Frankie Vass and Reece Wallace where at some jumps in Langley, B.C.  A trick jump and a nice line of big jumps were carved so nicely, can’t imagine how much time has been invested.  Also the first time I’ve used my cheap wireless garbage flash equip. off Ebay from Hong Kong.  It held up very nicely and being 50ft. + feet away was no problem :)   Hopefully will return soon! Enjoy!

I’d been meaning to go out with Mitch for a long time since he lives close to me.  In January we headed out to abbotsford where some of his segment from ‘Brighter’ had been filmed.  It was evident that the world class rider in him is always there, even when just hangin out having some fun.  The perfect line through the burms to keep the speed for the last jump ( table pic ) is crucial, and of course Chubey made it seem pretty chill.  Mitch was riding a prototype Morpheus at the time, 6 inches travel, similar to the 4 inch slope bike ridin a Whistler Crankworx 2010. He has since built up a couple more including a very small,  new looking dj prototype.  Photos of the Bikes coming soon!!

As practice started the clouds were slowly disappearing . Riders such as Geoff Gulevich, Kurt Sorge, Graham Agassiz, Nick Meyer, Ross Measures, Casey Groves and Sam Dueck started to put in a couple of practise runs.

Local rider Jess Findlay was there representing Different Bikes.

The rain started just after practice leaving every rider soaked for every one of their 3 runs.

Sam and Casey make the best out of being soaked.

Final results was Jess Findlay on top, with Casey Groves in 2nd and Sam Dueck in third. Jess made a decision to split the 1000 dollar purse between the top 5 since the rain was so distracting.
